I loved my days of etching in Paris, France back in the late 1970's in the 14th arrondisement and I look forward someday to doing more etchings here in northern Virginia as I still have lots to add to what I did back in the 70's.
When my Uncle Mort died back then I was in my twenties and his death touched me quite deeply and I wanted to deal with some of my feelings and so I tried to do that in part here with these etchings and they way I printed all these monotypes. I will explain more later but in the meantime enjoy these prints. Cheers and happy new year 2012. Anthony ( TONY ) Quinn
The prints above and below use both etchers' inks as well as some oil paint, too. I was trying it out : I was running low, too at the time of my etching/printers' inks. Being practical, using what I had ... I like the results though they may not be as permanent. Let someone else deal with that later.
