There's Something Sometimes Where Pictures Just Click : Jennifer It Works Simply Marvelously Here Sept. 2010

These pictures simply work taken with a glass of the FREEMARK ABBEY California Merlot ( the latest release that sure was drinking well here ) I believe. Everything just fell perfectly into place except for perhaps the bit of red wine on my Reidel glass above that somehow looks like Jennifer's skin has become agitated and inflamed. Not the case : just a drop of my red wine. Jennifer noticed this when I showed her these pictures that I took in quick succession and I was so pleased with them ( all taken within less than a minute ) that I gave her a big hug as I was so excited!

I like these pictures, really I do. I will add the other later today, Tuesday, September 28th, 2010 when I get to the store. I am home now here in northern Virginia at 7:58 AM and about to do my treadmill exercises before heading off to work.

Look at the string of pearls and the pearl earring on her left ear : nice, really nice. The smile, the red wine, the cheeks, the wisps of hair, the eyes : wow, those eyes are working their magic. The whole image is one of contentment, of wholeness, of poise and being fully relaxed and comfortable : a lovely glow emanates from every pore and fiber and hair. Pretty incredible if you ask this humble artist.

And Jennifer had not even joined me in sipping this FREEMARK ABBEY current-release California Napa Merlot ... thanks Jennifer for the taste of these various current releases of FREEMARK ABBEY and for these wonderful photos of you. I hope that you like them as much as I do. Cheers to you, TONY

New Stimulus To Tempt/ Rouse/Arouse/Raise & Please -All Ways : Young Lady GaGa! Old HAVENS, JECKEL, Washington Opera Wines, Sep. 20th,'01 : Cheers!

Great wines, signed bottles, INAO wine-tasting glasses, old-vine corkscrew from Provence, France that etcher Joelle Serve gave me from Atelier 54, 14th arrondisement, Paris, France, hand-painted wine-bottles, decanter, coasters and an old 1986 JEKEL Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon cork, and lilies in their last " blush ". artwork and all of this in front of the young Lady Ga Ga wine poster that my son came home with after the Monster Ball 2010 Verizon Center concert on September 5th, 2010 I think : Tuesday night, I know that much : the old, the current, the of-the-moment, the very popular, the deserving of attention - all alive, well and thriving in their own individual grooves. Cheers, I may write more about all these old wines as I have time but for the meantime enjoy these photos. I did the artwork for the Washington Ballet wine label that my friend Ronald King asked me to do years ago. What a wonderful treat : my wife in exchange got to see all the dress-rehearsals for that season - what an incredible deal! Oh yeah, so many memories, so little time, so much time wasted ; try and appreciate it all while you still can : it's truly wonderful this experience we live and call life.   TONY

Iwo Jima Flag-Raising Statue In Snow Storm Of Early 2010, 6,800 Americans,2,300 Japanese / One Of The Bloodiest Wars Of World War Two

I still have a few pictures to download but I am really excited and thrilled here on Thursday night at home, 8:33 PM on September 9th, 2010 here in northern Virginia as I post this blog finally.

I was a real thrill to be finally in a position to get these quick snap-shots of an American icon image that we all know, always hear about and that is probably ingrained in many of our brains - the " image " that is.

I drive by the Iwo Jima statue going and coming from work in Washington D.C. and it is always a really welcome surprise to see this statue. I especially notice it on my drive home and it excites me each and every time I almost drive into it as I cross over the Potomac River on the Teddy Roosevelt bridge. It's always a bit of a rush the feeling I get and the blood rushes to my head and my heart races.

This was during one of our snowstorms this year I believe earlier this year of 2010. It's nice and a great contrast to see the Iwo Jima statue and the contrast of the bright baby blue skies and the reflective white snow with rays of sunshine bouncing off it's surface : pretty amazing, really. I also like seeing the contrast and the sequence of images.

I hope you like this and it makes your blood rush to your heart and through your veins and arteries, and gives you the same tingle that it does me. Love seeing the flag blowing/rippling in the wind. Great seeing the red, white and blue cloth against the steely metal of the statue that encases and grounds the action of these brave American soldiers of so long ago : keeping their deeds alive and vibrant and resonating always inside us each and every time that we see them here.

Cheers and enjoy these several pictures that I took in less than a minute. They speak all by themselves and together they certainly are impressive and inspirational. TONY
