I took these photos quite some time ago and I showed them to my friend and customer and she obviously did not like them and I can understand that. For me they are art and they are difficult to look at because there is tremendous distortion and the pictures without it show how beautiful she is. The distortions as they are so up-close are almost ridiculous and grotesque and yet for me the artist still quite fascinating and make me think what I with my camera and the bottle of wine as a filter add or take away. For me they ultimately add because I / we are forced to defend the natural beauty of my friend. It's clearly that and as quickly clearly not. How do we deal with this?
