Three Monotype / Artist Proof Color Etcher's Ink And Oil Paint Combinations That I Printed In Paris, France In Either 1979 or 1980, The Picture Here Is Blurred Unfortunately But Still Gives An Idea Of The Etchings, Enjoy!

I did these monotype etchings in Paris, France back in 1979 or 1980 from three zinc plates that I made in acid baths with a red-colored thick wax red pencil that makes grainy and rough and rippled marks that are jagged and uneven and less-exact and that is exactly what I wanted for the effect so that the lines and shapes would all apprea a bit blurred so that I could take enormous liberties when printing them as I did here with etcher's ink and even sometimes oil paints, depending on what I needed or had handy at the time when I printed in Joelle Serve' Atelier 54 or the Rue Pernety or at William Stanley Hayter's Atelier 17 at 10 Rue Didot, both ateliers in the 14th arrondisement and both within walking distance of the others. Hope you like these prints that I did after learning on my Uncle Mort's death that effected me greatly while I was living in Paris at the time in the seventies with my family for part of the time, partly on my own. Cheers and enjoy these three monotype, artist's proof color etchings of mine. TONY  11 / 30 / 2014
