Visions In August and September 2010 For Me Before Work In Washington D.C. : So Much Inspiration : So Much Stimulation : Enjoy!

Washington D.C. and northern Virginia in August/ September of 2010. My drive to work each morning before starting my work day. It's grand, really it is. Here are some of the many things that I encounter each and ever day. It's always different, it's always stimulating. My curiosity is always aroused and my artistic temperament is always tweaked and flamed : that's a given.

There's a certain routine within the path that I take with some variation and yet all those things that transpire on my trajectory are always different and there's always something of real interest and inspiration for these artist eyes of mine and I am always happy when I have my trusty Canon Power Shot digital camera handy as I often want to capture parts of it to recall later and perhaps continue on with as a germ/ a gem/ an epiphany of an idea to move forward and expand upon in my thoughts and feelings and reeling and moments where I am struck dumb and speechless and so moved that I must reflect and collect/inspect and delve deeper to better flesh out whatever it is that has had such a profound effect upon me and so suddenly.

Why?
Why now?
How come? What's this mean?
How can I grow from it?
What do I need to do?

Ahhh, I'm here at work! Just feet away from my space/ my place/ my arena, my stage of play and work and teaching and sharing and all that fills me and fleshes me out and hopefully makes me a better and more fulfilled person?!? Of course that's all a matter of opinion. I like to think that I am always growing and that I am growing alongside family, friend, neighbors, customers and fellow work associates, etcetera.

I do know that I am having a whole lot of fun.

I do know that I am getting paid and that my mind is racing all the time full speed and in many directions that all feed one to the other and where there is/ are definite connections and tangents that I see, feel and follow and try to get others to come along on my ride even though they may not really understand why or where or me and why I seem so intent on my ways/ in my ways as I single-mindedly forge forward and drift hither and thither with blither and blather and smiles and tweaks and hugs and kisses and good cheer and so many things that so often appear completely random and strange and weird and unconnected.

What gives? Where's this dude going? What the ---- is Tony up to?!? Do I/ we really want to know?

These pictures are a lush and wonderful tapestry for me. I hope they work somewhat in the same way for you.

Enjoy and I will add more as I go along. Cheers, TONY

What are they building here in the photo above? I have been following this for more than a year now. I like it : it's been fun to chronicle over time...

See the big black crow above in the tree or the hawk? I like it.

I'm always trying to get the perfect picture or sequence of pictures of a flying plain above as it winds it's way along the Potomac river ...

What a grand thing life is ...

What a grand thing it is to be fully alive ... TONY
