This was such a special event for me and the first time that I took my sketch pad with me and drew quick portrait sketches of all the jazz musicians that gathered for this Sunday afternoon live-jazz event at Lee and Leslie's home. There were people like singer Jamie, guitarist Gene, piano player Robert, bass player Michael, and so many more that I will have to mention when I get a chance. For the meantime enjoy these quick portrait sketches that I did as they played their heart's out / poured their guts and bled their souls out, too : so intensely, with such passion and feeling and life and everything else including the kitchen sink.
