Color Oil Pastels Done On Virgin White Drawing Paper First Two Weeks Of August, 2010 While On Vacation : Cheers!

I did a whole lot of work - drawings with watercolors, oil and regular pastels as well as with ink pens in the first two weeks of August 2010 that I took off to be with my family at home and also at the beach - the Outer Banks of North Carolina which has become a staple for us each year that we all love.

Here are some of those color watercolors/ink and oil and regular pastels that I did during those two weeks. I hope that you enjoy them.

I sure am enjoying drawing freely and I get freer and less-inhibited and more daring and less concerned with complete works and more with the wonderful journeys that each and every one of them takes me on as I let myself loose and try and not plan and simply " go with the flow " of the moment and my perceptions of it and realizing that I am there for the ride and not so much in control or concerned with being in control of this or that ride - planned or not - unplanned the best : fling myself out there and suffer the consequences. Mostly I am okay and land on my feet and the world welcomes me and takes me under it's wings and protects me, too.

Cheers and enjoy, TONY

P.S. It's now Sunday evening after the Golden Globes awards ceremony at 11:42 PM here at home in northern Virginia on January 16th, 2011 as I type these last words.
