And HESS Wines, California the headline should read here if I had all the spce I needed ...
I love this picture that I took outside our house earlier this year looking up at the yellow leaves and the blue skies through this shiny silver orb that is amazing reflective/diflective/inspective in so many things / ways ...
These are some pictures that I took in 2009 I think - mostly, anyway. Enjoy, and Happy Holidays 2009 ! TONY
Above at Cork Wine Bar at a Bacchus Imports tasting of French wines with a male owner/winemaker flanked by two beautiful ladies. I like that in the one lady's hand that represents the Becky Wasserman portfolio she holds the program to cement picture with time and place : and that on the table it tells some about the Frenchman and his wines.
I really love how this picture of the female rep for Iron Horse CA> bubbly and wines is totally reconfigured so to speak by the Reidel champagne flute here. You have to look more than twice at it to take it all in.
It's great to enlarge these images on the screen to get more of the effect and power of these snap second images that tell just that split second in time and elude also to so much more!
I love all the crystal reflections in the bowl of the Reidel wine glass filled with the white wine of one of our local wine reps who's bottles surround the bowl and the rim of the glass ; and that can also be seen through the glass all they all compose and make for one great wine scene ...
Finding Atlantis in this green bottle that contains the white wine of the island of Santorini and all at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits while my daughter is actually on that island. Nice.
Toasting above earlier this year with Ugo and with Alberto the owner of GRAPPOLI Imports ( Italian wine specialists ) at a popular Italian restaurant in Old Towne Alexandria, northern Virginia.
This is an amazing picture if I do say so myself because each of the glasses has a different reflection and so much of the room as well as the outside comes inside in this picture. It's a bit much on the eyes and must be examined almost slowly, part-by-part to take it all in.
I love this picture that I took in the store last Saturday late evening around 9 PM of two of our regular customers all dressed up for a Christmas party. Look at the young brunette and how all the red frames the picture from her Santa Claus hat to her red ornaments for earrings and her red sweater. They make a very handsome couple the two of them with grand smiles, too.
Samacho Japanese sake above as well as the son of the owner ( brought to us by our local rep Jody Jackman ) of Winebow Imports ( love how his face is all morphed and modeled here through the glass of the bottle ) ; as well as MOUNT VEEDER ( I still have abottle of 1987 I believe to drink of the Cabernet Sauvignon ) and HESS selection wines below as seen all around the red wine in the Reidel wine glass's rim and bowl in the brochure below that rep Holy brought to Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits with her this day.
Gustavo from Brazil brought us these incredible selections from Italian specialists VINIFERA Imports to taste earlier this year of 2009 to taste. I love how the labels are enhanced and changed ever so slightly by taking the picture of the labels through the Reidel wine glass of mine.
I love this picture below that I took of the MIRASSOU Vineyard's Sauvignon Blanc clear-glass wine bottle with the blazing yellow sun rays and owner David Mirassou behind holding the bottle up and covering his face. Fun.
