Rediscovering My Arches Paper Acrylic Work Done In 1990's @ 7006 Ellen Avenue A Couple Of Lifetimes Ago Or So It Seems!

This Monday, October 17th, 2011 ( two days ago ) I was off for the first time in a long time and I decided to take my rediscovered rolled Arches French paper acrylic paper canvas outside and roll it out on our back deck and photograph it. Wow, what a wonderful project and discover that all became to me! I had not seen it in years as my life became more complicated with my daily living of life. It's been a whirlwind of motions and activities and pursuits ( many of them ) down smaller venues, paths, roads, brush, paths, woods, sands and waters etcetera. I have worked on smaller scales now for many years and have much to show for it.

It's time to start sharing it with the world at large that refuses to stand still and keeps marching on and on and forward, this way, that way, up-down, around, under, above, to my sides, between my legs, under my arms, over my head, through my remaining head hair, through my thickening mustache ... I'm just starting to wake up to this momentum and wanting now more than ever to hitch bigger rides, to be " out there " - seen in the world scene, to be noticed more, reveal more openly, to be more talked about, discussed, evaluated, etcetera.

I have worked quietly now to the sides for years and now it's time to break loose and to be available and counted and seen. I've done a lot of work, a lot of really good work. I've done it quietly and consistently and built a life of it and a whole stock pile of it. Time to share it more and to be sure that I continue to work it all together now as one, as motion of art, as collages of art : my art , my work over the last thirty-forty years.

What fun all this will be. Jump on! Come along for the ride with me.

Here I will in this blog include some of the pictures I took of this very long paper Arches canvas of mine. Enjoy and feel free to comment. Cheers, Anthony ( TONY ) Quinn

I will download the pictures here later today as time permits.
