The Red Wine Crescent Moon In The PINUAGA Dry Red Toledo Spanish Red Tempranillo & Merlot Tues. April 13th, 2010

Owner Esther Pinuaga Orrasco of PINUAGA Bodega Y Vinedos of the Toledo region of Spain ( La Mancha Y El Greco fame ) was just here tasting me on her three dry Spanish reds ( www.bodegaspinuaga.com, esther@bodegaspinuaga.com, two that were Tempranllo-based and one that was Merlot-based. Oddly enough on this particular moment in time I prefered the Merlotbased red from the La Mancha area of Spain ) this mid afternoon, Tuesday, April 13th, 2010 and I liked all three wines and these pictures that I took which came out on the more artsy side to mirror my artistic bent. Cheers and enjoy. TONY

This is a completely self-indulgent blog as I got an idea with these pictures where the wine in my Reidel glass reminded me of deeply-red-colored crescent moons and I now want to " run " with this idea and stream-of-conscious-semi-conscious ideas and responses/referrals/add-ons/flights/connections/skips/heart-beats/thuds/smacks/teases/pleases and more and see where it all takes me. I hope you will enjoy this self-indulgence of mine and perhaps even glean something from it all that may be useful, inspirational, irritating, emotional, cathartic, sudden - whatever - and all I hope is that between my writing and these pictures is that the overall effect outweighs any negative ones ...
