ARTIST EYES ON LUCA OF VERBENA, MONTALCINO, AND FRIEND ALESSANDRO FURLAN , ITALY, NOVEMBER 2009 IN ITALY

I love all these reflections of the people and the bright sun-filled day here in Tuscany ( Montalcino ) at VERBENA here in these pictures as I swirl the Brunello in my glass outside as Luca brings his harvest of just-picked olives in to make extra virgin olive oil.

It was great to finally meet owner Luca of the VERBENA winery in Montalcino, Tuscany ( Friday, November 29th, 2009 ) Italy and to take these quick pictures as I swirled the 2004 Reserva Brunello around in my glass outside in the full sunshine of the day with the people and the day and scenery all reflecting off my glass.

It was a whole lot going on and the glass and the red wine and everything all contributing to the whole - nice, exciting, challenging to figure out what the camera's eye actually captured in each and every one of these quick snaps of my Canon all done within a two minute period or less ...

Cheers, TONY
