Happy birthday to you one day early! I want to beat the crowd in wishing you an early birthday celebration. I did this black watercolor back on December 16th, 2015 on Ellen Avenue in 1994 and I called it " Apres La Fete ... " , it was 4/8 that I did,

Happy birthday to you one day early! I want to beat the crowd in wishing you an early birthday celebration. I did this black watercolor back on December 16th, 2015 on Ellen Avenue in 1994 and I called it " Apres La Fete ... " , it was 4/8 that I did,



and as I look at it now Ana I see with fresh eyes the beach and the sand and the ocean and a person sitting there with a hand stretched out, with a mouth open, a pelican's beak a chair a surf board,



a " T " for me , a lifeguard looking out and over everything, tanned, young and handsome, beautiful sculpted flesh legs an invitation, an acceptance,


and openness to life, a sharing, and exchange, a brightness, and yet also a foundation, fundamental and enduring, and beautiful


and mostly I see a lovely female sitting at the beach that I know, want to know , inviting, smiling , and open


to me and to life and to all that life will soon bring into the world from her.
