These portrait sketches I did very quickly this past Tuesday, February 22nd, 2010 at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits where I manage the wine department. I was meeting Marie Albrecht of the wine house in Orschwihr, Alsace, France ( LUCIEN ALBRECHT ) for the first time - having met her father at Vidalia restaurant about a year and a half ago for lunch. This was a fun visit/ wine-tasting in the store and it was fun for me to make these quickly and give them to her along with the four poems ( chatpoetry.blogspot.com ) that I had written anticipating this first meeting. It was a ll marvelous and serndipitous and I think a good moment for the two of us as well as Arielle Monaco that brought her to the store.
