Here are some of the mixed-media pieces that I painted out on our upper deck looking out towards the ocean over sand, waterways, highway, green gnarled bushes and pines and low-to-the-ground red, yellow, white flowers, too. It was quite the vacation. I got beat-up by the wind, the sun, the elements of dryness and heat and sometimes splashes of sudden thunderstorms. I think these pieces reflect some of all of that.
